This really tells me, why worry about the future or dwell on the past? We are given time now and it will be gone in a little while so do not waste it. If there is anything we regret, TODAY is the day to make up for it. If we did something wrong, TODAY is the day we make up for it. If we put things off they most likely will not get done. We have the chance now so take advantage of it. There is nothing in the world that can take us back to correct things or take us forward to prevent things. We can really only control what happens today. I strongly believe that.

Have you ever seen someone who refuses to smile? They almost act like the world is coming to an end(undoubtedly it is scientifically but,... not for a long, long, time). Our life is just moving on. We need to smile at what comes at us.
